Name: Tristan LeBlanc
Occupation: Counselor for students at Green Valley
Personality: Tristan is friendly, professional, but above all caring. The type of counselor who genuinely puts the welfare of the students he works with first, and cares about professional bureaucracy only to the extent necessary to keep doing his job. He fully believes that the key to a happy life is fun, and while he's not the only counselor available to Green Valley students, he's the one who tends to wind up with the particularly difficult cases because he's often able to get through to them in a way that more serious types just can't. It helps that he had his own share of issues when he was younger, and while he's succeeded in getting his life where he likes it now, it's enough to deeply understand where the kids are coming from.
Outside of work, he has a pretty solid personal life. He performs with a local community theater on a volunteer basis, and is generally happy with it despite hardly ever having any kind of major role. While he wouldn't claim he has a lot of very close friends, he's social, and goes out to meals or bars with people he knows from work or the theater on a semi-regular basis. Easily the most important person in his life is his husband (a firefighter and--as Tristan will point out with some mix of pride and amusement--very attractive and an excellent pick for the July spread on last year's calendar. There may or may not be a room in their house where he insists on it always being July.)
People he knows:
Husband
(not apped yet but there are plans)
Friends and Coworkers
Christina Vineyard (Vermouth) - School drama teacher; her classes and his hobbies give them plenty to talk about
Students:
Kei Nein (Taro Watanabe) - Party kid in perpetual trouble
Riki Itsumi (Ken Amada) - Going to counseling to cope with family turmoil
John Miles - Formerly in counseling for issues with bullying; Tristan also frequents his family's cafe
